Hello, my name is David Lee and I’m a candidate for a seat on your Culpeper County Board of Supervisors (East Fairfax District). I’ve been a resident of Culpeper for 10 years and I continue to be amazed at all the wonderful things we have around us: a beautiful rural landscape, historic battlefields, cultural diversity, a vibrant downtown business community, and a rich history of agriculture and farming.
Another one of the hallmarks of our prosperous and healthy community has been a legacy of “Good Government”, established over the years by many dedicated and hard-working citizens. I would like to continue that legacy by serving on your Board of Supervisors and following my personal belief that government exists to serve the people, and to make their lives better. As my slogan states, “Good government makes a difference” and at the local level this is very much the case.
Please take a few minutes to read over my website to learn more about my background and my top 4 priorities of Public Schools, Mental Health, The Environment (Culpeper Goes Green!) and Law Enforcement. When I was a school Principal, I found that it was always important to first listen to people, and to learn from them, before you could make decisions and provide leadership. So, I encourage you to email me with any questions or concerns you may have at davidlee4supervisor@gmail.com. I am also active on Facebook posting about upcoming events that I’ll be attending.
When people work together in a community, amazing things can be accomplished!
Thanks so much for your time and interest.
